I'm back! It's been 10 years since I wrote for my blog. 10. So many things have happened. Many things have changed, and some things haven't.
We moved to a bit south. We stayed a one-child family, despite our hopes and prayers and more failed pregnancies, which is both an absolutely joy (seriously, the closeness a small family shares is a DELIGHT) and a deep, never-ending grief. I now run my own small business baking sourdough bread. I'm officially a homeschooling mom, not just a future one. It's the hardest and also best thing I've ever done. We still try to live a healthy lifestyle, but fail a little more often than we used to, partially due to the busyness of life homeschooling a 10 year old and running a business. I still garden as much as possible. We finally got to get chickens again even though we live in town! That was a great excitement for us and I still love collecting those gorgeous, fresh eggs everyday (or rather, when Ethan does it; he does take majority responsibility for the chickens!).
I don't know if I'll keep writing here again, or exactly what I mean to write about if I do. But writing has always been something I've enjoyed. So, we'll see where this goes. I've also come to see the great wisdom in just shutting up. Not thinking we need to offer our 2 cents all the time.
